Hey, guys,

It might appear this a form of "throwing down the gauntlet" except, well, with my shy Care Bear nature, you know I'd never do that.

The fact is, I'm beating the bushes, issuing a plea, even nagging! See, we're getting a lot more submissions for Guild of the Week from PvE-oriented guilds than from GvG- or PvP-oriented guilds. We'd like to have GotW as a balanced presentation, not just one catering to a certain segment of the population. Now, I know that PvP guilds have a tendency to shift a bit more often. All right, more honestly, some guilds don't have the shelf life of a carton of milk. Some have a membership that fluxes just a tad. Like revolving door that spins at ejection speed. But some have been around for a while, or will be around for a while, and come on, what good guild wouldn't like coverage? Recognition? Fame? Honour? Freshly baked cookies? Ok, I lied about the last bit.

Still and all, won't you consider applying to be a Guild of the Week? We could really use the spice that a good PvP build brings to the feature, and we really want to give due note to an important part of the playerbase.

Where would be better? I eyed the list, and since a component of the content in the GotW is (hopefully) a good solid build, I thought this was a good place. But if there's another forum I should post in, let me know!

I just sent in a nomination for [Pink] last week, because as anyone in gwp will tell you,

PINK OWNSSSSSSSSSSSSZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZAHHHH

Also, You definetly got a nomination for Black Mischief's guild, but apparently Anet doesn't like the name "Guess Who Fails at Game Balance [Izzy]". WTF?

Oh shoot I was going to nominate [izzy] as well. They can't have that big of a problem considering the guild name hasn't been changed/banned or anything like that, I think we all have a sense of humor to, especially Izzy, right?

Do The Mike Tyson Maneuver [Bite] should be recognized just for guild name alone. Plus Iron Mike is in the news again, so it's fitting.

WTF why don't they like that name?
we're 2-0 against pink so that has to mean StP owns as well (e-peen+1)

i have a feeling that exculdes a large number of serious guilds, who generally have core squads of 8-10, although some do have members who do not participate in gvg.

I think thats just a guideline. You don't have to have 12 members but i could be wrong.

I never bothered to nominate Legend of Pi because we had less than 12 members... and my current guild (which was formed by basically the same core team) still has less than 12 members :P
